Abstracts

Preference will be given to extended and informative abstracts containing new data and arguments. The guidelines for abstract preparation and submission are outlined in the Abstract Template. You must specify the mode of your presentation: ORAL or POSTER. No abstracts will be accepted without registration of at least one of the authors. Every registered participant has the right to submit up to two extended abstracts as the first author.
Abstracts should be sent by e-mail to the 3-rd ISGB Secretariat no later than May 31, 2011. All presentations, oral or poster, will be published in the Abstracts volume.

 

Abstract Template

Abstracts should be 1-2 pages, A4 format (210×297mm) with margins of 2.5cm.
Title - Times New Roman Bold font size 11, centered, First Letters in Capitals.

 


Authors' Names – Times New Roman Bold font size 10, centered, SURNAMES in Capital Letters, underline the name of the presenting author


Addresses – Times New Roman Bold font size 9, italic, provide the e-mail address of the presenting author

 


Text – Times New Roman font size 10, justified, single line spacing, leave single line space between paragraphs


Keywords - TimesNew Roman bold font size10, italic, maximum five keywords


References - Times New Roman Bold 9 font size, italic

 

1-2 figures per abstract are acceptable. Please send the figures separately as jpg and bmp format.

 

Oral and Poster Presentation

Each speaker will have 20 minutes for presentation including questions. Invited speakers will have 30 minutes. Poster format is 100 x 140 cm.
Projection Equipment: Screens and LCD (PowerPoint presentation) projectors are available.

 

Publication

Accepted abstracts will be published in the Volume of Extended Abstracts, supplement of the journal GEOECOMARINA nr. 17/2011. The full papers will be published in a Special Volume.
